CHristi Robinson

Christi was born in Gadsden, earned a Bachelor Degree in Finance from Jacksonville State University and is a second year law student at Birmingham School of Law.  She married Christopher Robinson, her favorite friend and co-conspirator, fifteen years ago and they have been bouncing ideas off each other since they first met.  Together they own Blackstone Pub & Eatery in Downtown Gadsden, and are continually formulating ideas for future business endeavors.  Christi is also in lending and lending services at Alabama Teachers Credit Union.  

Christi is serving her third year on the Girlfriend Gala Committee.  She feels very passionately about many community agencies and programs including but not limited to United Way Success By 6 which nurtures children’s literacy, United Way of Etowah County which partners with 27 agencies to address a multitude of needs, the Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center which speaks out on behalf of voiceless animals, Gadsden Runners Club which encourages health and fitness, Gadsden-Etowah Chamber’s Leadership Etowah program which fosters professional development and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Alabama which offers a mentor program for children.  

Christi and Christopher have three charismatic pets - two cats (Sydney and Scout) and a tiny dog (Weber Chill Winston).  Scout is a SUPER cat adopted from HSPRAC!
